As standard in all of our Tesla Model Y, 3, S, X PPF wraps, we custom wrap all corners and edges as seamlessly as possible for a custom fit and finish. We custom 1 piece the front bumper (without multiple bumper pieces seamed together you get from plotted kits), we 1 piece the trunk, etc.
Our custom PPF installation for seamless corner and edge wrapping requires more time and most importantly sophisticated skill set that is offered only in a handful of PPF shops.

Spectacular custom hand cut total car installation with wrapped edges and no seams. Blows away competitors’ precut pieces. Even wrapped the door handles! At first, I wasn’t sure if I should do the full body PPF wrap or just the front end. But then James asked me to come down and check out a vehicle he was wrapping. When I dropped by, he explained the whole process and how it’s done. He made me feel comfortable with everything and went over the materials used and how long it would take.
That gave me some peace of mind about the whole thing and confidence in James. So, I dropped my car off, and every day he gave me updates and sent photos of what he worked on. That really assured me that everything was going well.
In the end, I picked up my car, and honestly, he did an amazing job. He walked me through the entire vehicle, showed me what was done, and explained the process. Overall, I think the installation went great. I’m supposed to go back for a follow-up after a week or so to make sure things are still good.

I texted James @ PPF Guys and received a response and quote immediately. James is very professional and knowledgeable. He did not try to up sell me, but in fact recommended me to hold off on PPF until my paint was 100% cured and done off gassing. I got my brand new Tesla Model Y Performance full body ppf from James. When I first asked about prices I was a bit shocked, but well worth it. James does quality work, keeps you updated with pictures daily, answers any questions you have very fast. I came to this shop simply because I saw so many good reviews. Upon contacting the owner James, he came back to me with a reasonable quotation. He was patient about my questions before I made my decisions. To summarize, I am one of their very happy customers now.
Here are more details. I have had two cars before done with PPF in 2021 and 2022. Both of them were done through the dealers and back then I wasn’t aware some details you have to pay attention. The dealers used kits so the wrapping only covered halfway near edges, not covering all the paints. Over the last 2-3 years both cars suffer from dirt building up in the paint areas right on the edges of the PPF, especially under the fender. PPF Guys do custom made wrap so it covered all paint areas. With custom made wraps, I am sure one requires a lot of experience and skills to achieve a flawless job. PPF Guys definitely nailed it.
Regarding ceramic coating, I wasn’t sure if it was worth it for this new car as my other two cars had done it but it only lasted for one winter. James explained to me that ceramic coating requires one deep cleaning each year to maintain the ceramic coating in tip top condition as well as the warranty. Now for this new car I am going to have a deep cleaning each year to keep the ceramic coating shine like new! Thank you James! I recently got a full body PPF installed on my new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Highland by James, the owner of PPF Guys. The experience exceeded my expectations. I asked a lot of questions as it was my first time getting PPF and James patiently answered them all via text or phone. The entire process from initial meeting to drop off and pick up was “seamless” (no pun intended) and his updates with photos were a nice touch. James and his father Charlie applied a PPF and Ceramic Coating (8 year warranty) to the entire exterior paint/clear coat, and a ceramic coating to the leather seats and leather storage surface on the console, on my 2024 Porsche Macan T. I’m absolutely thrilled with the work they did. No visible seams at all. James told me a Macan’s hood is extraordinarily wide and requires the widest PPF roll that XPEL makes in order to have no seams on the hood. The Porsche dealership recommended I use their subcontractor for the PPF and CC and for the dash cameras. They wouldn’t tell me the name of the subcontractor but I found out who it is and did a slow drive by their facility. There were a lot of cars in there and I saw two men working together on a car just inside the garage door; one was on each side of the rear of the car placing small pieces of PPF near the bumper. No-go for me. I talked to a well known detailing shop about their facility and learned that they have a number of employees doing PPF work. I then paid a visit to PPF Guys. James is the owner and applicator and Charlie his helper and business advisor. I was impressed by their set up, James’ PPF experience, and that I was talking to the people who would actually do the work. I got quotes from all three and chose James and Charlie on the spot even though their quote was the highest. I’d been in construction for a long time and learned this adage: Good, Cheap, Fast – pick any two and you won’t get the third. In this case I reversed the adage and chose only one: Good. They weren’t Cheap, and they weren’t Fast (they had my car for five days) but I got exactly what I wanted. When I picked up the car, James surprised me when he said to bring it back in a week or so and he’ll check the coatings to see if any adjustments are required (none were), now that’s diligence and pride in workmanship. PPF Guys are my kind of guys.

I want to thank James and Charles from PPF Guys in Vancouver for their amazing and meticulous work applying paint protection film (ppf) to my Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo! I contacted four companies for quotes to ppf the front of my car and what drew me to ppf guys was their excellent and fair pricing, their prompt and detailed communication, their many years of experience applying ppf and ceramic coating to all kinds of cars from tesla, honda, porsche, to ferrari, and finally knowing that James would be personally preparing my car and applying all the ppf to my car and not some inexperienced junior employee.

Had my f150 fully wrapped they did an excellent job and set me documentation pics as they completed the work. The price was the best i was quoted, although my focus was on quality and they more than delivered. This is a bit of a different review, because not only am I a customer, but I’m also a very experienced and trained PPF installer myself. James was put under my wing 3.5 years ago, and I instantly knew he’d be great. After training dozens and dozens of installers in different parts of the country, he was the ONLY one that had it all: passion, drive, patience, and attention to detail. Skip forward a few years and I just purchased a new Tesla Model Y in black, known as the worst colour to install on. Over my almost decade of experience, I built up tons of relationships and connections with installers and shops, but I knew there was only 1 person I trusted protecting my car, and it’s this shop right here. (I also could’ve done it myself for way cheaper, but chose not to) I don’t get anything for leaving this review, yes I know James, but I paid for my service and I just truly think this level of craftsmanship should be celebrated and rewarded. Even his shop was spotless, which never happens in automotive. I got a full front PPF, some other small bits and full car ceramic coating. It may take a bit longer than other shops, and may cost more because of that, but with this level of care, and customization, it’s absolutely worth the wait and price. There is absolutely zero film lines or seams anywhere on the car. The whole front bumper was done in 1 piece, which no one else does. The ceramic coating deepened the black and with the PPF there won’t be any small scratches to take away from the look. I’m obviously biased since I installed for years, but I think PPF is a no brainer, with common paint issues on Tesla, and common driving mishaps in Vancouver, it’s a triple no brainer to get it. I am so happy with the quality and care that was taken with my car, he treats every install like it’s his own, and I’m happy to watch him succeed at what he loves doing. This trade isn’t for everyone, but James is one of the best you’ll ever see. He kept me posted throughout the day with photos and everything. Highly, highly recommend The PPF Guys. Bonus points, it has warranty and ICBC coverage. Win win win.

An import point (when PPF is applied) is the edge, James technique consists in wrapping around the edges to prevent the PPF peeling off prematurely. I reccomend James at PPF guys. I got my 2023 TMY PPF front end protection, partial PPF on the A-pillars, and the entire car ceramic coated. They install PPF the proper way with no seams and all one piece. Very happy with how it looks and he also tell you to bring it back in after 2 weeks so he can go over the PPF to make sure there are no flaws!

He sent me real time updates of the application process, even through the night, giving me the assurance that my new car is in good hands of the person who cares and loves providing quality service to the car owners.

Moreover, I was super thankful that he’s done a full clean wash on my car, which was more than a little dusty coming off the lot at Tesla delivery; they should’ve done a better job than that. James’ responsibility was to apply front ppf. No more, no less. He could have just washed off only where he needed to and be done with his work. However, he’s gone above and beyond that and I can’t do nothing but compliment on his service for this.
James also let me know how to care for the car and ppf, and even offered me a check up 2-3 weeks later to make sure the film is still intact properly.
Overall, highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to get ppf done. You just can’t expect better service than this.

I got xpel stealth PPF done on my Tesla model 3 a few days ago by James and it looks great! James was very professional and quick to address my concerns before, during, and after the process. I’m really impressed with his skills in wrapping the car and I appreciate the care he’s put in. In particular he used 1-piece (instead of multiple which leads to seams) to wrap different all components of the car except for the mirrors. Im very satisfied with this. Additionally he sent photos throughout the process and let me know the status of some tiny scratches, which he tried his best to fix up

Had a great experience getting full front ppf on my F150 Lightning. James is a hard working guy with attention to detail that I see most shops lack.
He also wraps around corners wherever possible. This gives the ppf a seamless look and you don’t have to worry about dirty corners. You wont practically know its there.

Aug 16, 2023 – today we visited James to have our rear passenger PPF replaced because we had a door ding. When they removed the old PPF no damage to the paint or door. James did an amazing job replacing the PPF. James customer service is fantastic and his attention to detail is amazing, we will only take our vehicle to him now when we purchase a new vehicle.

We recently acquired a model 3 from PNW/USA. After searching of PPF installers from Seattle, Oregon, Vancouver BC. regions, We decide to go with PPF Guys. Their website shows nothing but Tesla projects they specialize on, so if you have a Tesla that need PPF, this is the go-to place. Price is very reasonable for the tremendous high quality work they provide, in fact, it’s actually lower than a few PPF installers in Seattle area. I took delivery of my model3 on a Saturday, and James was able to fit me in on next day Sunday appointment. Leave the car in the morning and pick up next morning. Along the process, James keep updates on the progress (with pictures) via email. James is a tentative, hard working, customer-oriented young man that you can trust your car for his work. The Xpel glossy PPF on my model 3 looks great. Now I don’t need to worry about the stone chips on I5 anymore.

I have contacted a few other local shops about wrapping my Tesla with Xpel Stealth. Ended up going with James from PPF Guys because of their competitive pricing and most importantly the relevant good reviews they have accrued.
James managed to book me in very close to my delivery date which was awesome. I was also very impressed with the daily updates he was able to give me regarding the progress of the wrap, thus all the pictures I am able to post here. He even asked me to bring the car back in 2-3 weeks time to do a complimentary check up on the PPF installation.

James managed to book me in very close to my delivery date which was awesome. I was also very impressed with the daily updates he was able to give me regarding the progress of the wrap, thus all the pictures I am able to post here. He even asked me to bring the car back in 2-3 weeks time to do a complimentary check up on the PPF installation.

These guys are the best all around – from the initial contact to pick up, as someone else has commented.
They replied pretty quickly with a reasonable quote for my Model 3 and were able to get me in the next day for a full front/rocker work. Got a full body protection done by PPF guys! Couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with James’ workmanship!!! This guy is definitely worth every penny! He was willing to accommodate me despite having to change my appointments multiple times due to delay from the car manufacturer. James was friendly, patient and detail oriented. He kept me updated at each stage of the work. He was even willing to add PPF on certain locations that was not part for the usual job as per my request after the work on my car was completed. He did an excellent job with paint correction as well. Excellent workmanship, great customer service!!! I would recommend PPF Guys to anyone for amazing results.

I picked James because of the reviews I read on here, and I can gladly say that I am another convert! He did a fantastic job and provided regular updates. He was responsive from the very start, even when I was first inquiring about his services. Pricing was competitive (I called around) and he uses good materials (xpel, ceramic pro) and uses templates for the PPF rather than hand cut (which is not recommended, per my research). Turnaround time was also quick! Quicker than what competitors were quoting me. He obviously treated my car with the same care I would, and the final product looks fantastic. Would recommend him to friends and family.

Just had my Model Y LR AWD wrapped with Xpel Stealth with James from PPF Guys and I am blown away. James did an AMAZING job – all the edges and corners were tucked in. The stealth film gives it that satin look and it looks like it came right out of the factory, there’s not a hint of the original pearl white showing.
His attention to detail is immaculate and he was super friendly to deal with. I can’t recommend James enough!

PPF Guys did a great job wrapping my MYP. The entire process from initial contacting them to getting my car back was smooth and stress free. They accommodated my delivery schedule to take my car in on the delivery day. Since Tesla only confirmed my delivery day 3 days prior, I am pleasantly surprised that PPF Guys was able to accommodate the schedule even on a weekend. The wrapping was all custom and they tucked all seams behind the panels. They provided daily updates so I was well informed about the progress. PPF Guys are friendly, patient and detail oriented. I am glad they answered all my questions as I was deciding the exact PPF to use, and they did an excellent job wrapping it as well. I would recommend PPF Guys to anyone looking into wrapping their cars.

Let me ensure you, PPF Guys uses full sheet of film, NOT pre-cut sheets that leaves exposed paint at the edges. Every possible corners are tucked in/wrapped in. PPF Guys also fixes any paint imperfections before starting to put any films for best results. I was very lucky to be able to squeeze in for the job in tight schedule and the work was done much quicker than expected. I drove all the way from Langley to Richmond for this service and I have zero regrets and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone. There are other 5 star review wrapping shops in Langley, but I choose PPF Guys. If you’re looking for best quality service at the best price, don’t look any further. My Blue Model S LR is the fourth car I’ve installed full body PPF/Ceramic on and without question, James at PPF Guys does the best work I have ever seen. All corners and edges were flawlessly wrapped. The front & rear bumpers and trunk lid were single piece installations – no dirt collecting seams anywhere.
As others have mentioned, James is a great guy, very easy to work with. The daily updates and pictures are a nice touch. PPF Guys pricing is more than competitive with other shops, but the quality of work leaves competitors in the dust.

I took delivery of my blue Model 3 LR a couple of weeks ago. At first I wasn’t planning on installing PPF on my car, but after trying to clean some dust with my fingers, I saw some swirl marks from just skin contact. It’s just unbelievable how soft the paint is, so I decided to install full car PPF as I’m going to keep the car long term.
I came across James from PPF Guys after doing some research online, and reached out. He’s very detail oriented, was patient in answering all my questions, and best of all the pricing was very fair.
The full body install job took about 4-5 days, and he sent me photos everyday on the progress. He carefully wrapped the film around all the edges so it’s truly a seamless install and in the end it’s invisible. Now as the weather gets better I can drive the family out on trips without worrying about paint damage.

As a new Tesla family member, the 1st thing I researched on while waiting for my model Y to arrived is to protect the paint on the body. I came a crossed 2 PPF specialist recommendation on a Tesla mobile forum and a couple more through the google search engine. I was able to nailed down to 3 locations which are located in the greater Vancouver, did my own diligent and start contacting each of them for quotation and details. James from PPF Guys was able to communicate clearly on my needs and follow up without pushy sales. He was also able to offer additional discount when I mentioned to come with another friend of mine to have the PPF installation together. I had PPF wrap for the full body with ceramic coat.
The whole scheduling and arrangement process were detailed and efficient. James provided detailed images and communications during prepping and actual PPF application process on a daily basis. On the day of picking up my car, I ran through every inch, all corners, and edges finishing using additional light source for extra inspection. I gonna say James’ attention to detail is superior. Took my car home and I couldn’t be more happy with my decision for having James to do such amazing job on protecting the paint on my car.
Got home, did another thorough inspection with different light source, found a paint defect on the inside of the mirror where the location is not included in the PPF coverage area. Brought it up to James when we went pick up my friend’s car. James was able to show me what product I can use to try to fix it myself. I bet he saw my concerning face and worry I will ruin his amazing PPF job, James ended up offering me not only helping me to fix it, but also coming to me at my convivence.

The service is great. Very detail oriented, he even help to touch up the paint chip which is not included in the PPF service, which I really appreciated. I got daily updates witch pictures of the progress over WhatsApp .

My PPF on my rear bumper was damaged by a pressure washer. I reached out to James to see what he could do. James was able to come by the same day to my house. Despite the PPF being 5+ years old, James was able to remove the water bubbles and saved me from having to redo the entire bumper. James is highly skilled and I’ll definitely call him again for any future PPF job. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best PPF application I’ve ever seen. Meticulous with unbelievable attention to detail.
Now I have peace of mind from worries of rock chips or scratches on my brand new car.
Washing my car seems easier too, without the worry of scratching the paint.

James did front end ppf on my Tesla Model 3 and can’t even tell it’s on. Very detail oriented, I can see why he’s the Ferrari ppf installer.
